So many people take it for granted, it's always nice to hear from others who struggled as well. I think everyone expectant momma thinks about her shower within the first month of finding out. It's one of those "rights of passage" that we crave, especially when our journey has been so long. Thank you again, and bring on the glitter!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10188722732167017387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6397854074396164938.post-30755399298289492922012-12-05T16:45:51.873-05:002012-12-05T16:45:51.873-05:00Thank you! As a fellow Success After Infertility (and in my case pregnancy loss) person I spent a good portion of my pregnancy (basically the entire thing) terrified. I was unable to celebrate and even dampened the excitement of those around me due to fear. I don't recommend that course of action. You have a baby today - glitter should be thrown every day that that fact is true. It is certainly not to early to be thinking about your baby shower. I have been to several co-ed "non-traditional" baby showers and they are, by far, the most fun. I was not asked what I wanted in a baby shower and truly wish that I had had the opportunity to voice my opinion because that is exactly the type of event I would have preferred for myself. (and yes on thebump I am sure they would call me selfish and ungrateful - which I'm not).

Now let the glitter commence. I think your shower ideas sound wonderful and no one has the right to tell you otherwise. You have been through so much and deserve to enjoy every joyous second! =o)Sparklemaurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11857658533098053598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6397854074396164938.post-35613286852700886072012-12-04T16:27:40.406-05:002012-12-04T16:27:40.406-05:00I absolutely love this comment!
